Toshimi Nagai joins
the progressive rock band "VIENNA" and debuts in 1988.
Participates in the
solo tour of Minoru Niihara, the former vocal of "LOUDNESS". Later, he forms the hard
rock band "DED CHAPLIN" with Minoru Niihara, Yukihiro Fujimura
(G) and Kozo Suganuma (Dr).
Forms the Latin fusion
band "GRAY" with Makoto Aoyagi (Keyboard, Sax), ex- "NANIWA
EXPRESS" members, Kazuhiko Michishita (G), and Kozo Suganuma
(Dr)
Joins the progressive
rock band "GERARD" formed by Toshiro Egawa, former keyboard
player of "EARTH SHAKER".
His original bass instructional
video is released.
Forms the progressive
fusion group "W. I.N.S" in 1992 with Akira Wada (G), Kozo
Suganuma (Dr) and Akira Ishiguro (Key).
Joins the group "FAMILY
BUSINESS" of Hidehiko Matsumoto (Sax).
Participates in "LOST
GENERATION TOUR" of Mari Hamada(Vo).
Participates in "KOREKATA
TOUR" of Hirokuni Korekata (G). After that tour, he appears on
a TV program regularly as a member of the band "KORE CHANz."
Appears on Rock opera
"HAMLET."
Forms "TKY"
in 1999 with Takayuki Yamaishi (Key.Vo) who is the support member
of "THE ALFEE" and Koji Hasegawa (Dr).
Forms "POWER JOB"
in 2001 with Kazuhiko Michishita (G) who is a sworn friend.
Besides, he participates
in the recording or tour of various music genres, such as TOSHI (X-JAPAN),
Demon Kogure (Seikimatsu), FEEL SO BAD, Kazuyoshi Saito, TO BE CONTINUED,
GACKT, and so on. He enjoys an established reputation for his broad
musicianship and his original style using fretless bass.
At present, he also
performs as a member of "Ogawa Ginji Band" and "TOSHIMI
SESSION" which is his homework-project and so on. Moreover, he
opens his original base school for training of a young musician.
Taka Yamaguchi
performs with Ginji Ogawa for the first time as a member of "Ogawa
Ginji & Inner-WIND" formed in 1986. Then he participates in
the recording of "Inner-WIND" album in 1991 and "Inner-WIND
II" album in 1992. He joins many sessions and bands after “Inner-WIND”
breakup.
He also appears on the
recording or tour of “lost CANDI”, “RED”, “LUCA”,
“ROBOSHOP MANIA”, “Breath”, “Amika Hattan”,
“NEWTON CIRCUS” and so on. His capability as a drummer is
esteemed.
In TV program “Music fair” he performs in the backing band
for the famous artist such as Yuji Oda, Keizo Nakanishi, Komi Hirose,
Seiko Matsuda, Tatsuya Ishii, SMAP, CHAGE & ASKA, Mayo Okamoto,
Yuko Yamaguchi, Yoko Oginome, Masatoshi Ono and so forth.
In July, 2001 he joins
the band formed Ginji Ogawa again for the first time in nine years.
At present, he has marvelous performance with Toshimi Nagai (Bass) as
an indispensable member.
